The Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art, Science & History is the primary art, science, and history museum in Central Florida. The area's largest museum, MOAS is nationally accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and is a Smithsonian Institute Affiliate. Chartered by the State of Florida over 50 years ago, The Brown has a legacy of providing our community with the finest in art, science, and history.
Situated in the beautiful Tuscawilla Preserve, the Museum features the Kim A. Klancke, M.D. and Marsha L. Klancke Environmental Education Complex; the Root Family Museum with popular Americana including vintage automobiles, railroad cars, and the largest collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia in Florida, and the world-famous Gaint Ground Sloth skeleton.
The Brown also houses the Cuban Foundation Museum showcasing one of the most significant collections of Cuban paintings in the United States; Helene B. Roberson Visible Storage Building; African artifacts; the finest collection of American art in the Southeast; International Decorative Arts; a Chinese art collection; the Lohman Planetarium presenting daily star shows, and the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art.
