The Southeast Center for Photographic Studies, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, is a partnership between the Daytona State College, the University of Central Florida, and the Southeast Museum of Photography. The college is situated on International Speedway Boulevard just a few miles northwest of the Museum of Arts & Sciences. For more than 50 years Southeast Center for Photographic Studies graduates have taken their place among the leading photographers of the nation.
The Southeast Center for Photographic Studies offers the technical instruction and theoretical knowledge in photography to assist graduates in successfully entering the commercial, editorial, advertising, fine arts and photo technology fields. Coursework covers digital photography and videography as well as the medium’s history and aesthetics to prepare photographers as visual communicators.
