Join Sami Duguay in the Education Room at the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art as she steps on her soapbox to uncover the hidden truth behind famous old wives' tales, spoken word stories, and folktales throughout the world. While science and modern knowledge have allowed us the comfort of absolute certainty, women in the past used stories and spoken word to pass down necessary information to their families. From the likely truth behind vampires, to the power of a full moon, stories kept people safe for generations.
