Event Description

Did you know that before the United States landed humans on the Moon, NASA was exploring the idea of using nuclear explosions to propel astronauts into space? Join Assistant Curator of Science Christian Traverson in the Lohman Planetarium as he explores some of the weird and ambitious stories of NASA programs that didn't make it past the drawing board (literally) and some of the wild ones that did! 

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, as space is limited. If registration is full, please call the Museum at 386-255-0285 to be placed on a waitlist with the potential for another time to be scheduled.
