Smithsonian Affiliate Membership Program

A Smithsonian Affiliate Membership can be added on as part of a general membership to the Museum of Arts & Sciences for $25.00. Family Plus, Friend of MOAS, and Renaissance Society members all receive a complimentary Smithsonian Affiliate Membership. Essentially, having a Smithsonian Affiliate Membership in addition to your MOAS membership is like having two memberships in one. Affiliate members receive all of the benefits of the Museum of Arts & Sciences, PLUS a national membership from the Smithsonian.

Reciprocal Membership Program

The Smithsonian Affiliate Reciprocal Membership Program* is a network of Smithsonian Affiliate museums and educational organizations. By choosing to become a Smithsonian member through your MOAS membership, you are entitled to the following privileges at participating Affiliates with the presentation of a current Smithsonian Affiliate membership card: 

  • Free admission
  • Member discounts on purchases made on the premises for concert and lecture tickets
  • Discounts in gift stores

REMEMBER: You must have your Smithsonian card with you. Not all Smithsonian Affiliate museums participate. 

*Some participating museums restrict benefits. "Family" benefits are defined by each participating institution.
