Painting History: How a WWII Painting Comes Together

Event Description

Join artist John Shaw in the Root Family Auditorium at the Museum of Arts & Sciences to learn about the process of how some of his WWII paintings come together. He will touch on the inspiration behind a scene, the research necessary to make it as historically accurate as possible, and will show photos from beginning concept rough sketches to finished work.
