CANCELED - Masterpieces and Mimosas: Colonial to Contemporary

Date:
10/2/2024 at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Event Description

Join Donna Houtteman, the creative force behind Art Blocks, for an interactive and engaging exploration of American Art, live-streaming in the Lohman Planetarium. Journey through the centuries with us as we uncover how artists from the 17th to the 20th centuries have reflected the story of the United States. From Colonial Times and the birth of a New Nation to the Age of Self-Discovery, the dawn of Early Modernism, and America’s rise on the global stage—experience history like never before!

This is not just a history lesson—it's a visual journey where art and history collide! Each session is paired with two complimentary mimosas, adding another splash of fun to your art-filled adventure. Join us and discover how artwork is a window into the past, and how learning history through art is simply a blast!

Enjoy two complimentary mimosas with each session. Ages 21 and older are welcome.

Advanced registration is recommended online at MOAS.org or by calling the Museum at 386-255-0285.
