Event Description

Join us at the Museum of Arts & Sciences' Root Family Auditorium for the Audubon Speaker Series with wildlife photographer, author, and conservationist Kirsten Hines. Her talk, "Wild Florida," will take you on a visual journey through Florida's diverse wildlife, from crocodiles and bears to rare species like the red widow spider and reappearing flamingos. Kirsten will explore habitats across the state, featuring species from the Panhandle to the Keys, as captured in her books Wild Florida: An Animal Odyssey and Birds of Florida.

Kirsten Hines, an award-winning photographer and author, has published 8 books on Florida's nature and history, including her recent Wild Florida: An Animal Odyssey.
